The clock is battery-powered, while the thermometer measures ambient temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius.

They are secured with a set screw and simply fit over the steering stem hex nut on most Harleys with 39mm forks, as well as many other locations with a diameter between 25 and 27.7mm.
