Now you won't have to replace the old odometer drive cable with the electronic odometer transmission when you want to upgrade to a digital system. These digital odometer and tachometer combinations are completely invisible when the ignition is off, but with the ignition on, they can display speed, engine speed, odometer, and trip readings in digital format. These digital odometers feature a 5/8" connector cable and include an adapter for 12mm wires. They are also programmable for use with a 1:1, 2:1, or 2240:60 odometer ratio. They are 4 1/2" in diameter and fit models with 1947 through 1995 style instruments. For the tachometer signal, one wire simply connects to the ignition coil.
