For your reference only: For identification purposes, we have named the above speedometer dials "FL style" with the model year.
They may not accurately represent actual model years and are used for reference only.
Most FL type speedometers are available with KMH or MPH dials.
All speedometers, from the '36-40' dial to the '00-03', have the same dimensions and are compatible with FL, FLH, Fat Bob, FLST, FXST, etc. tank-mount dashes.
Please note that minor modification to the dashboard may be necessary for the reset knob to fit properly.
The 2:1 aspect ratio is suitable for most front-wheel drive models; the 1:1 aspect ratio is suitable for most transmission models.
'84-'95 Softail models may have a different 2.24:1 ratio, which is listed on some speedometers.
