S&S 124" Touring Hot Setup Kit with Heads, Twin Cam, Black for Harley Davidson

Complete kit with everything you need to turn your engine into a horsepower-spewing monster.
It will improve its displacement from 88" to 124".
The kit comes complete with flywheels, a big bore cylinder, and a flat-top piston kit providing a 10.8:1 gear ratio with the included 91cc high-flow heads.
The Easy Start 640 gear-driven cams provide the lift needed for this engine to breathe, yet ensure easy starting with the stock starter motor and battery.
Note 1: Stock cases must be machined to accept the larger 4-1/8" big bore cylinders.
The kit adds 0.096" to the engine height, but fits the stock chassis.
Note 2: Will build a serious high performance engine.
Therefore, it is not compatible with the stock ignition and a stock throttle housing (too small).
A large throttle housing, such as the S&S 558678 single bore 58mm unit, is recommended, and a high performance ECU is required.
Carbureted engines will require an ignition system with adjustable advance curves and a large carburetor, such as the S&S Super G or similar.
The kits are machined to be compatible with the stock manifolds.
Note 3: S&S recommends JIMS MCS 978519 crankcase bearing insert, for 03-17 Twin Cam models, to replace the stock roller bearing with the heavier duty earlier style Timken bearing.
