S&S, 84-91 Crankcase Assembly, Standard Bore. Black For Harley Davidson

2,368.14 €

S&S Superstock™ crankcases, constructed from 356-T6 aluminum, are much stronger than OEM crankcases.
OEM crankcases can crack in high-performance or even stock applications, as many of us have found out the hard way.
These S&S Superstock™ crankcases can be used for both stock and competition replacement applications.
The important thing for the engine manufacturer is the substantial savings in labor that comes with using S&S crankcases.
These crankcases come "set up" with Timken sprocket shaft main bearing races and cam needle bearings installed and pinion shaft main bearing race pressed and ground.
Additional parts supplied include Timken sprocket shaft bearings, cylinder studs, nickel-plated crankcase bolts, crankcase fittings, oil pressure sensor, timing and magnetic crankcase drain plugs, and a specially designed S&S alternator stator plug retaining screw.
Flywheel scrapers are machined to match original 8-1/2" diameter flywheels.
S&S cases maximize crankcase oil scavenging efficiency by using a "ported" design vent passage.
S&S cases have clearance up to and including 5", so no additional clearance is required for stepped cylinders.
S&S boxes are delivered complete with assembly instructions.
Note: For 84-E85 Evo Big Twin models, you must use an L85-91 style head bolt kit.
These can be ordered separately as MCS 505266 (Gardner-Westcott) or 989599 (Colony) in standard lengths only.
Note: The HD Aluminum Oil Pump (26190-73) or the S&S Oil Pump, MCS 519923, can be used on 70-91 applications.
Note: In each and every application, the technician must be able to judge the components to determine their suitability in combination with the other engine components, prior to installation.
It is important to have an experienced mechanic install and make any necessary adjustments.

Compatible with: > 84-91 Evo BT
