- A high-performance centrifugal clutch compatible with racing. The big advantage over other high-performance clutches? You'll never have to pull the clutch again when you're in heavy traffic or waiting for that traffic light that refuses to turn green. Otherwise, there's no difference from a normal clutch. When the engine RPMs increase, the clutch automatically engages and then switches to a normal clutch. The "engagement" RPMs are adjustable, and a "how-to" adjustment card is included. The clutch comes in 'medium position'. Available settings are 'Low' (< 850 RPM), 'Medium' (850-1050 RPM), 'High' (1050-1150 RPM), and 'Very High' (> 1150 RPM). Above these RPMs, you'll maintain a fully functional clutch lever; to shift gears, you need to pull the clutch just like a normal clutch. The clutch only disengages below certain RPMs, allowing you to start and stop in gear, without using the clutch lever and avoiding accidental stalls. This clutch system was initially developed for motocross bikes/dirt bikes/adventure bikes, specifically to prevent unpleasant accidental stalls on rough terrain, so the rider can fully concentrate on the bike, the trail, and racing. On the street, circumstances may vary, but it works just as well, and when riding in heavy traffic, it's a godsend. No modifications to OEM parts are required. Rekluse covers eliminate wear and basket notching. The TorqDrive system allows for more discs in less space, totaling 6 additional friction discs over stock. These friction plates provide up to 50% more clutch holding capacity, all without using stronger springs or a special locking device.
