Featuring highly efficient four-valve heads, the M8 engines show significant potential for performance improvements, especially with the newly designed Andrews M8 series camshafts.

Note that cam timing specifications for four-valve heads are very different from those for camshafts designed for two-valve applications.
Engines with four-valve heads have much higher flow efficiency, so cam timing duration is much shorter.
