Jims Engine Oil Dipstick Insertion Tool Kit for Harley Davidson

Kit includes insert tool 962021 (for earlier hex cap designs) and insert 939483 (for later hand grip design dipsticks).
JIMS 962021 tool allows removal of the OEM dipstick cap (06-12 models) with a wrench.
Later models (models 12 and up) incorporate round knurled dipsticks with a hand grip design.
These can be difficult to remove; for this newer rod model, hand tool 939483 is available.
However, if the dipstick becomes stuck or needs to be removed when the engine is warm, you can use the 962021 socket (older models) on the 939483 hand gripping tool (late models).
This allows you to use your 7/8" socket or 3/8" fitting to remove the dipstick from later models easily and without burning your hands.
