- Used to separate engine crankcases and easily break the sealant.
- Separate the crankcases and also press the entire flywheel out and place it in the right crankcase on models with Timken bearings.
- Some crankcase pressing processes may require a hard cover. See part number 514024 for information on the optional hard cover to protect the sprocket shaft.
- This crankcase splitter is the only suitable tool that will allow you to easily separate crankcases, without risk of damage, using a ratchet.
- Made of 1/2" thick A36 hot rolled steel.
- It is installed on the primary side of the crankcase.
Note: See number 514024 for information on the optional hard cover to protect the sprocket shaft.
Note: For the 00-06 Softail engine, this tool can only be used to remove the flywheel from the left crankcase.
Note: Do not use pneumatic or electric impact tools. Instructions included.
