This gasket kit comes with MLS (multi-layer steel) cylinder head gaskets and RCM (rubber coated metal) base gaskets.
- MLS (multi-layer steel) is used in high-performance cylinder head gasket applications.
They consist of multiple layers of uniquely designed steel riveted together, outside the gasket surface for ease of installation, and provide a high performance seal.
MLS head gaskets eliminate the use of pin O-rings
- RCM (Rubber Coated Metal) consists of a 0.020" thick stainless steel spring steel base covered with 0.001" thick heat resistant Viton rubber on both sides.
A very strong joint that does not require re-tightening.
