Note: XR1000 models do not require cylinder head gaskets.
Originally, the steel (iron) cylinders and high-performance aluminum cylinder heads are bolted together without the use of any type of cylinder head gasket.
As such, James Gaskets does not offer cylinder head gaskets.
Note: Some spray paint the joint surface as an additional sealant.
