Oil flow bypasses the oil cooler to prevent overcooling of the engine oil.

Easy installation in the oil line.

The automatic bypass valve works because the oil flows through the open bypass port, rather than through the cooler.

As the oil temperature approaches 85°C (185°F), the actuator begins to move.

At 90.6°C (195°F), the actuator completely closes the bypass orifice and directs all hot oil to the cooler.

Includes all necessary hardware and easy-to-follow installation instructions.

Note: If the oil hoses between the oil cooler and the oil source are too short, the oil cooler bypass valve may not fit into the oil lines.

This Jagg Mini Bypass Valve requires at least 3" (7.6 cm) of straight hose.
