0.036" MLS (multi-layer steel).
MLS consists of a top and bottom layer of embossed stainless steel with both sides coated with a high temperature polymer rubber layer at 250°C.
The inner rings are also made of stainless steel.
The gasket layers are riveted together, outside the gasket surface, for ease of installation.
The outer layers are embossed and both sides are coated with a layer of polymer rubber resistant to 250°C.
MLS head gaskets eliminate the use of pin-type O-rings.
