Cometic AFM (Aluminum Foam Material) gaskets are made from an aluminum core with a thin layer of chemically bonded, blown, nitrile synthetic foam-like rubber compounded on both sides.
Resistance to temperatures above 250 °F (122 °C).
AFM rubber has an 85% recovery while maintaining strong torsion retention.
No retightening, gasket sealants or silicone beads required.
Note: Does not fit 1999 Touring with Magneti-Marelli fuel injection.
