Fast Eddy, Tool for Installing Headset Cups for Harley Davidson

It is used to press the bearing neck cup into the chassis neck and the bearing races into the cups.

The neck cups can have an interference fit of between 0.004" and 0.006".

That's why you need a big hammer to install them this way.

This tool gently presses them as if they were butter, without damaging them or applying uncontrollable forces.

Note: Fast Eddy recommends pressing only the bearing cups into the frame that already have pre-installed races. Alternatively, press new races into the cups at the same time as you place them in the frame. Do not press the cups into the frame without the races already installed.
