It is used to rotate the motor from the gear shaft (with 24 splines) during assembly, timing, pushrod or other adjustment checks that require rotating the motor.

The splines have been intentionally fitted with a slight extra play so that the die slides easily over the gear shaft, even if it is an old shaft with some burrs or defects.

Manufactured from 4140 steel, hot threaded.

Cerakote finish.
