Cometic AFM gaskets are constructed of an aluminum core with a thin layer of chemically bonded, blown, nitrile synthetic foam-like rubber compounded on both sides.
Resistant to temperatures above 250°F (122°C).
AFM rubber has an 85% recovery while maintaining strong torsion retention.
No retightening, gasket sealants or silicone beads required.
