MLS (Multilayer Steel).
It consists of a top and bottom layer of embossed stainless steel with both sides coated with a layer of high temperature polymer rubber at 250°C.
The inner rings are also made of stainless steel.
The gasket layers are riveted together, outside the gasket surface, to facilitate installation.
The outer layers are stamped and both sides are coated with a layer of polymer rubber resistant to 250°C.
MLS head gaskets eliminate the use of O-rings for dowel pins.
