- Unlike the OEM crankshaft on 2000-2003 models, these crankshafts feature a separate sprocket shaft and pinion shaft, allowing for rebuilding.
- Another great advantage is that installation requires the use of the pinion gear, pinion shaft oil pump drive gear, and 1986-1987 style nut (sold separately).
- These have proven to be much more durable than the OEM design used since 1988.
