When trying to maximize air flow through a filter, it is very helpful to have a large filtering area.
But building a huge filter was impossible, it had to be small and very effective.
This is where Arlen Ness designers began.
Add the inner surface of the air filter to the outside add a large amount of filtering area.
With the integrated rounded air inlet, this air cleaner showed some of the highest flow numbers that you have ever tested.
The final appearance gives the air filter an appearance of a very small, personalized and attractive speed battery that will aspire effectively from all sides and, in addition, will provide more leg space.
The filtering elements are made of synthetic material.
Water resist, a sock for rain is usually not required.
The filters are reusable, simply rinse them and install them again.
It is not necessary to grease.
Note: The vent design has toric joints in the heads, passes through the backup plate and is placed inside the mouth of the accelerator/carburetor body. This eliminates external ventilation hoses so that nothing of the clean appearance is lost.
Note: It is not compatible with 64 mm stage 4 mm accelerator bodies. Note: See 590444 to know the optional rain cover. It is generally necessary, but it can be used when desired in case of exceptionally strong downpours. Note: See 590397 for the replacement filter element with chrome embellishing ring or 590396 for the filter element with black embellishing hoop.
