Andrews offers these gear sets in three different gear ratios. A stock replacement 3.00 ratio set, a 2.60 and a 2.44 ratio set. The 2.44 ratio set is the best choice for Superglides and other lighter bikes with stock motor or transmission sprockets. The 2.60 ratio gear set works best with Electra Glides and other heavy bikes. Also applicable for light bikes with larger transmission sprockets. When installing the non-stock gear sets in 1980 thru 1984 FX models, a 21 tooth 2nd gear must be installed too.
