944 QPS Ultra Touring HD Shock Absorber for Harley Davidson

The exclusive Ultra Touring spring configuration provides the excellent ride quality and suspension travel of a 13" shock, but with the custom, lower look of a 12" shock.
The Ultra Low series shocks are designed to sit even lower; 2" lower than a standard Touring model.
With the QPS upgrade kit installed on the 444 and 944 series shocks, it is no longer necessary to remove the saddlebags to adjust the sag when switching from a single rider to a two-rider setup and then back to the solo riding experience.
The QPS upgrade kit uses a sealed gear transmission to smoothly adjust preload and offers the same preload adjustment range as the original 444 or 944 series shock when it comes from the factory.
Built with Progressive Suspension's Frequency Sensing Technology (FST).
It allows the shock absorbers to detect the frequency of a bump and automatically adjust the damping for a superior ride quality.
The 944 FST Ultra Touring shock absorbers are available in three configurations: Standard (up to 113 kg), Heavy Duty (113 to 159 kg) and Super Heavy Duty (over 159 kg).
The unique combination of springs provides a lower ride height while driving or resting on a side stand, allowing for better control both at intersections and when parking.
Adjust the spring preload manually; no special tools are needed.

High-performance applications are recommended for motorcycles that operate above the manufacturer's maximum load capacity for more than 50% of the time.
Before purchasing or attempting to install shock absorbers with a different length than the original manufacturer's, confirm that the wheel travel can be modified without causing play issues, such as contact between the swingarm/axle and the exhaust, as well as contact between the chain/belt guard or the tire.
