With the same clutch spring pressure, the additional plates create more surface area, increasing clutch holding power, faster lock-up, and better heat absorption.
The clutch friction plate set includes 'G3' friction plates (including 6 friction plates and 3 swash plates).
G3 is a newly developed friction material that offers performance as good as or better than Alto Carbonite clutch material.
It is formulated with graphitic carbon-based particles, which is the most durable, shift-friendly, and burn-reduced product to date for high-horsepower and torque applications.
Included 8 x 581916 (0.107/2.72mm friction), 3 x 581909 (0.151"/3.84mm) friction plates and 9 x 581920 (0.056"/1.42mm thick) steel drive plates and 1 x 518914 (0.079"/2.01mm thick).
