On motorcycles over 10 years old, with metal fuel tanks, internal corrosion formation is normal, caused by the chemical components of the fuel (especially if it contains large amounts of ethanol) and especially by moisture coming from the outside air, and condensed into the tank.
This corrosion forms oxide inlays on the walls and bottom of the gasoline tank, which when released by the vibrations and movements of the bike ends up bottling the fuel filter, gasoline tap, carburetor and injectors.
The best way to prevent and combat this oxidation is through a Cleaning and Sealing Kit, which in the first stage cleanses and removes dirt and then creates a protective inner layer that protects the walls of the tank.
Even steel gasoline tanks can cause corrosion,
that accumulates inside.
To begin with, we will clean up this waste with the Cleaner removing rust efficiently.
The next step is to implement the Neutralizer oxidation chemical (included in the kit) that delays the formation of new corrosion.
Finally we will apply the Guard, which will create a corrosion and fuel resistant layer, leaving the inside of the tank as new.
