The X-ring is a very thin, X-shaped "O-ring" that provides reduced drag on the rollers and side plates.
The reduction in resistance is such that efficiency increases to almost the same level as a normal roller chain, with the longevity of a normal O-ring.
This is Tsubaki's quality chain that combines superior strength and performance with the longevity known from O-ring type chains.
