- How does the Scottoiler work?
The Scottoiler V system is vacuum-controlled. When the engine is running, a vacuum is created.
This raises a diaphragm, which in turn opens the valve.
While the valve is open, oil flows by gravity through the supply hose to the chain, via the rear sprocket. The amount of oil is regulated by adjusting the valve. It is not a pump.
- The needle valve and valve seat are now manufactured with even greater precision, ensuring even better dosage.
- The needle valve profile has been modified, allowing for a more uniform dosage change.
- The supply hose has been changed, making ventilation much easier.
- The RMV is designed in a modern smoke grey
- The protective covers on the supply hose and the aeration hose are now black and therefore less sensitive.

- The kit consists of a reservoir with a valve (RMV) and an injector that dispenses the oil onto the chain and sprocket.
- Also included is a 250ml bottle of Scottoil biodegradable green oil for the full temperature range of 0 to 40°C, sufficient for a distance of up to 10,000 km.
