- Compression ratio of +0.010" (11.1:1).
- The kit includes forged pistons, rings, wrist pins, and clips.
- Crankcases do not require boring.
- Large diameter 4.250" cylinders are required; OEM cylinders cannot be bored to 4.250".
- The 117" to 128" pistons have a platform height of 1.0805" and are compatible with the OEM 4.500" stroke.
- Note: See S&S 574121 (rough black) or 547122 (rough black with highlighted fins) only for 4.250" large bore cylinders
- Note: Gaskets are sold separately as cylinder head gasket 591055, base gasket 591054 or cylinder head and base gasket kit 591056.
- Note: S&S recommends an S&S 550 Series camshaft, available with chain or gear drive.
- Note: In any application, the technician must be able to assess the suitability of the components in combination with the other engine components before installation. It is essential that a skilled mechanic install and make any necessary adjustments. The driver must follow standard break-in and driving procedures for reconditioned engines.
