Replacement crankcases for Touring and Dyna Twin Cam engines.
They offer greater overall strength than OEM crankcases, especially at the front engine mount, which is an important consideration in high-performance applications.
CNC machined from high-strength, heat-treated aluminum castings, these S&S crankcases are much more cost-effective than billet crankcases.
A Timken® style sprocket axle bearing is used to better withstand the most demanding applications.
All oil passages between the crankcase and gear cover are O-ring sealed.
Includes roller bearings for the camshaft and pinion shaft and a Timken sprocket shaft bearing.
The large camshaft cage allows for cam lift up to 0.675" with no backlash.
Clearance for runs up to 5".
The boxes are compatible with stock components such as oil pump, cam support plate, gear cover, etc.
Boxes include hardware and installation instructions.
Note: Includes camshafts, pinion and sprocket shaft bearings.
Note: Installing the T124 engine in a 99-05 Dyna chassis requires an oil line installation kit that is no longer available.
This kit includes a special transmission top cover and oil lines.
Custom manufacturing is required.
Note: Installing the T124 engine in a 99-06 Touring chassis requires Oil Line Installation Kit 902299.
The stock transmission cover can be reused.
Note: Softail engine crankcases with internal balancers are not available.
Note: In each and every application, the technician must be able to judge the components for suitability in combination with the other engine components, prior to installation.
It is important that an experienced mechanic installs and makes any necessary adjustments.
