It will upgrade your original 96" or 103" engine to a 124" capacity.
The kit comes complete with flywheels, big bore cylinder and flat top piston kit providing a CR of 10.8:1 with the included 91cc high flow heads.
The 640 Easy Start gear-driven cams provide the lift needed for this engine to breathe, yet ensure easy cranking with the original starter motor and battery.
The kit adds 0.096" to the engine height.
Note 2: Will build a serious high performance engine.
Therefore, it is not compatible with the original ignition and original throttle housings (too small).
A large throttle housing, such as the 558678 S&S 58mm diameter, and a high performance ECU are required.
Carbureted engines will require an ignition system with adjustable advance curves and a large carburetor, such as the S&S Super G or similar.
Kits are machined to be compatible with stock length manifolds.
Note 3: S&S recommends MCS 978519 JIMS Crankcase Bearing Insert, for 03-17 Twin Cam models, to replace the original roller bearing with the stronger older style Timken bearing.

The correct Timken bearing can be ordered as MCS 508960 / OEM 9028.
