Based on the 970 series, but designed for aggressive, sport/racing-inspired riding.

No other shock absorber offers this much adjustability.

Includes a linear ratio coil spring, 0.4" adjustable eyelet height, and adjustable threaded preload.

A reservoir (remote for Touring) with a knob to adjust rebound and compression at high and low speeds.

Featuring a lightweight aluminum body, the high-pressure monotube with deflective disc damping, distributed across two unique circuits, delivers a consistent feel throughout the shock's travel for improved performance and stability.

A new and improved rebound bumper features an encapsulated design to soften and control the impact upon bottoming out.

Each shock is hand-built and dynamometer-tested for real-world performance.

What is the difference between Progressive Suspension's "STD Duty" and "Heavy Duty" shocks?

If you're a light rider with a light passenger, STD Duty is probably your best option.

Heavy-duty shock absorbers will give you a hard ride.

For larger riders with a lot of luggage, heavy-duty springs are the best option.

High resistance is not better, it is different.

Heavy-duty shock absorbers or springs are recommended for motorcycles that operate at or near the manufacturer's maximum load for more than 50% of the time.
