We recommend fitting the handguards and handlebar mounting hardware before installation to anticipate potential contact. Problems typically only occur in confined spaces or when parking.
- Clean with mild products such as Shine Werks® or soapy water; avoid cleaners with ammonia, alcohol, or solvents (such as Windex®) to preserve the dye, coating, and UV protection; if detergent is used, apply a wax cleaner such as Shine Werks® afterward for optimal performance.
- Not suitable for '04-'13 Sportster models without washers, '04-'23 Sportster models with offset mirror mounts, or Sportsters with bar-end mirrors.
