Based Upon The Proven Designs of the HSR42 and HSR45 Mikuni Develop the HSR48 Performance Carburetor with A Large 48mm Venturi for Use On Real High Performance and Big Inch Motors. Don's Treat it to simple replacement for a carburetor stock, but as a True Racing part. It is Meant for Custom Installation, not a Bolt-on replacement for a carburetor stock. Mikuni Strongly Suggests The Use of An Electric Fuel Pump with a Pressure Not Exceeding 4 psi on Engines Production More than 120 Horsepower. You must install a ZPN720449 NEEDLE VALVE WHEN USING THE HSR48 IN CONJUNCTION WITH SUCH AN ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP. The HSR48 Can Be Mounted To An S&S Super G Manifeing the Incluscuded Mikuni Rubber Adapter Flange. This results in the HSR48 protuding further than a carbourethor stock, so Clearance with the gas tank must be checked. The HSR48 can be used with stock style as used on 1990 Thru 2017 Big-Twins. Carburetor comes with adaptter flange. Manifeold Must Be Ordered Separately According to Application. These manifesto not work with oem style manifesto seals, Order Special S&S Seals Separately. Manifeolds for other Applications Can Be Special Ordered. Please check with your zodiac dealer and/or salts office.
