Upper replacement hardware for mounting the original rocker arm shaft to the rocker tower bolts.
The unique installation of these studs helps prevent stripping of the rocker arm tower bolt threads and subsequent damage when the rocker arms become loose while the engine is running.
Especially recommended when using high lift cams.
Studs are made of hot-dipped aircraft alloy steel with rolled threads from 5/16-18 UNC to 5/16-24 UNF.
180,000 psi creep strength with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance.
Note: Replacement nuts are only available separately as 587242.
