- Install the supplied indicator into the corresponding laser-marked hole and secure it to the cam plate mounting surface or internal primary using the supplied wing screw; rotate the tool arm until it touches the corresponding shaft to quickly and accurately measure the TIR.
- The tool measures the total runout of the pinion shaft or ring gear shaft and allows for precise determination of the actual runout of the compensators on '07 and later models.
- It includes 5 small cylindrical magnets that fit into the grooves of the fine splines and allow you to check if the splines are off-center.
