Must be used with adjustable pushrods.
Jims 'Hydrosolid' tappets have overcome the limitations of all previous hydraulic tappet designs and are the finest Jims tappets offered.
This tappet operates as a hydraulic tappet up to about 5500 RPM, and then becomes solid as far as its rev limiter takes over.
By the time it becomes a solid, Jims Hydrosolid will add 3-6 horsepower.
Even when the pusher rollers start to lift the back of your cam, you can rest assured that Jims Hydrosolid will never inflate.
Replace 18526-89.
