Complete repair kits for factory brake master cylinders include all the internal parts necessary for a complete rebuild. They can be used with DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5 brake fluid, but you must always use the same type of brake fluid, as the three types are chemically incompatible. The bore size is usually indicated on the bottom of the master cylinder.
