Used between the transmission bearing housing and the transmission end cover.
OEM replacement part number 36801-87C.
Cometic AFM gaskets are made with an aluminum core with a thin layer of chemically blown nitrile synthetic foam-like rubber bonded to both sides.
Resistant to temperatures above 250°F (122°C).
AFM rubber has an 85% recovery rate while maintaining strong torque retention. No retightening, gasket sealants, or silicone beads are required.
