EST's embossed stainless steel metal substrate is coated with a proprietary high-temperature rubber material that virtually eliminates leakage when bonding two metal surfaces.
Rocker cover gaskets are 0.020" thick and 0.005" high temperature rubber on both sides.
They won't weep, extrude, tear, or become brittle over time.
