This is a tool used to dynamically time the ignition with a strobe light.
Prevents oil from escaping from the timing hole.
When screwed in so that it lightly touches the flywheel, it will provide a clear view of the flywheel timing marks.
Used as a temporary 'timing tool only' replacement for OEM 704 (hex head) or 720 (allen head) timing plugs.
