NPT threads are 'self-sealing' as they are slightly tapered, the diameter increasing slowly upwards.
Note: 16.8mm is approx. diameter of this plug in the middle of the plug including the thread itself.
Note: To more easily identify the correct plug, the diameter (measured approximately at the center of the plug, including the thread itself) is provided in millimeters.
Note: The 3/8 pipe plug size is much larger than regular 3/8" size bolts.
