Rocker Lockers for Harley-Davidson, eliminates the noise of taetas and balance box
Share
Does the upper part of your engine generate too loud?
The annoying "ICT" of Harley-Davidson's rockers.
The Harley Twin Cam engine has a space between the rocker axis and the screw that is supposed to block it. This space allows the axis to rotate and hit the screw, causing a metallic sound, which is often attributed to hydraulics, pushers or the camshaft.
The Rocker Lockers eliminate this slack, block the axis so that it does not turn and blow the screw and eliminate that annoying noise of pushers definitively. In addition, the Rocker Lockers also focus the rocker plaque, so that it is always located in the same position, eliminating different wear patterns in the rocker and valve and a better alignment of the pusher rod in the holes. Rocker Lockers have a conical shape, so that the screw and axis in place are blocked and immobilized. Keep in mind that this device will not solve the noise created by a hydraulic, camshaft or distribution tensioner in poor condition.
