New repair kit for Harley-Davidson Brembo Brembo brake
Share
Harley-Davidson began using Brembo Italian manufacturer pumps and brake tweezers in 2006, when he introduced them as improvement in V-ROD models. Subsequently, in 2008, these new tweezers were also set up in the Touring family, and in 2017 the models equipped with the Milwaukee Eight engine not only equip Brembo brake tweezers, but also the clutch acting mechanism.
Brembo 4 piston tweezers that mount Harley-Davidson offer a significant improvement in both braking and performance touch, but they have the inconvenience that they cannot be disassembled to perform their maintenance, since HD only markets the full clamp.
The good news is that the American company Cycle Pro has just presented a Reconstruction kit for Brembo brake tweezers that Equipa Harley-Davidson and that allow repairing or rebuilding the tweezers for a minimum cost.
This kit consists of improved billet aluminum pistons that replace the original plastic pistons and all the joints necessary to leave the clamp as new.

I have a Harley Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic with a 6 piston brake caliper and Harley Does not make a rebuild kit for it. I recently bought one from Cycle Pro for my year of bike and it Does not fit my caliper, I am returning it today. My pistons are 32mm x20mm 4ea, and 25.4mmx20mm 2 ea. Or 1.25"v.7880" 4ea.and 1"x 0.788". This caliper was only on the tri glides for 4 years. Do you have a kit for this? If not what is the MEASUREMENTS OF THE 4 PISTON KIT YOU NOW MAKE? THANKS for the 2017 bike? Thanks Harold
