American manufacturer Fox has developed a complete line of high performance shock absorbers and suspension for Harley-Davidson.
Upgrading the front and rear of the bike amplifies the ability to enjoy every mile. FOX shocks are designed to be comfortable, controlled and have a "stick to the road" feel. FOX fork kits use less spring preload and a higher speed spring than stock. That's what makes the fork feel flexible over small bumps, but provides enough support to resist the fork's jump when braking.
Front cartridge suspension for forks
The cartridge's opposing piston design creates a sealed system to prevent air from mixing with the oil, resulting in consistent damping control regardless of ride time. Additionally, the cartridge's spring-loaded upper piston moves easily to absorb even the smallest bumps, unlike gas-charged designs that can create internal friction and a hard ride.
3-position adjustable compression QS3
The three-position Quick Switch (QS3) compression adjuster on the remote reservoirs allows you to select from three specific settings: maximum comfort, additional support during hard acceleration, or more responsive and precise driving.
Fox internal technology
FOX's super-high-flow pistons maintain that flowing, comfortable, smooth feel that's so characteristic of a large V-twin without letting that motion get out of control. The internal floating piston (IFP) found in all FOX Performance Street series shocks separates nitrogen gas from the shock oil, meaning the shocks will maintain control of the damping no matter how long you ride.
Preload
Setting the correct preload on the shocks is essential for a great ride. FOX makes it easy with its unique preload adjustment markings and a shock-friendly, serrated adjustment tool that makes setting up the bike a breeze.
3-position rebound adjustment QS-R
FOX's new three-position Quick Switch Rebound (QSR) with three different settings makes it easy to select the correct rebound for different riding situations: comfort on bumpy backroads, balance of control and comfort on any trail, and feel for stuck to asphalt on smooth, winding roads.
