The new 2019 Harley-Davidson models have arrived.

Ya han llegado las nuevas Harley-Davidson 2019

Coinciding with the Summer Dealer Meeting, the Motor Company has just unveiled its new models for next year, which will be available at dealerships starting in October of this year.

New 2019 Harley-Davidson FXDR 114 model

The new FXDR is a powerful machine, adding a new level of performance to the Harley-Davidson lineup.
It combines the performance of the Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine with aluminum and composite fiber components to reduce weight, including a new, lighter swingarm, subframe, lighter wheels, and composite fenders, increasing the feeling of agility and performance.

The air filter intake is forward-facing, with drag racing inspiration, and improves intake by increasing airflow at high speeds.
The engine is the M8 114ci, capable of delivering 119 ft-lbs. of torque at 3500 rpm (in the American model).

Featuring the new Softail chassis with upgraded high-performance suspension introduced on this year's models, the FXDR offers the widest roll angle of the family (32.6 degrees left and 32.8 degrees right).
Its exhaust complements the aggressive muscle bike line, offering a deep and progressive sound.

What's new in the rest of the range

Although the rest of the models offered for 2019 haven't changed much from those already available this year, the technology in the touring range has been improved, offering more advanced multimedia systems, suspension improvements, and ABS brakes with traction control on the trikes.

The 2019 CVO models consist of the Street Glide, Road Glide, and Ultra Limited.

What remains to be seen

It's clear that this is just the beginning of new models that will be launched progressively in the coming years, as Harley-Davidson announced in its latest promotional video, which will revolutionize the brand's most traditional foundations: new water-cooled engines, new electric models, new off-road and sport ranges... the idea is to attract new markets and audiences, with the challenge of retaining the most conservative customers.

Is the market ready for Harley-Davidson's future?
