Victory Motorcycles closes its doors

Victory Motorcycles cierra sus puertas

Today, Polaris Industries Inc. announced the closure of its Victory motorcycle brand.

The closure only affects this brand, and according to its CEO, Scott Wine, this decision was made specifically to adequately boost the growth of other brands in the group, such as Indian.

Victory Motorcycles was founded 18 years ago and has offered nearly 60 different motorcycle models to date, always in the custom and touring segments. The growth and manufacturing expertise allowed Polaris to acquire and revive the legendary Indian. Its latest models, such as the Scout, already shared a potential market directly with many Victory models. Therefore, Polaris made a Solomonic decision, sacrificing one branch of the business to allow more room for growth for the other.

However, Polaris emphasizes that current warranties will continue to be maintained and that Victory spare parts will be provided for the next 10 years, in accordance with applicable regulations.
