Is your engine's high end generating too much noise?
Stop that annoying "ticking" of Harley-Davidson rockers.
The Harley Twin Cam engine has a gap between the rocker arm shaft and the bolt that's supposed to lock it. This gap allows the shaft to rotate and hit the bolt, causing a metallic sound, which is often mistakenly attributed to the hydraulics, tappets, or camshaft.
Rocker Lockers eliminate this play, lock the shaft so it doesn't rotate and hit the bolt, and eliminate that annoying tappet noise for good. In addition, Rocker Lockers also center the rocker arm plate so it's always in the same position, eliminating different wear patterns on the rocker arm and valve stem and improving tappet rod alignment in the bores. Rocker Lockers are tapered, locking and immobilizing the bolt and shaft in place. It's important to note that this device will not correct noise caused by a faulty hydraulic system, camshaft, or timing belt tensioner.
