German exhaust manufacturer Thorcat is an exhaust certification specialist that modifies products from American manufacturer Vance & Hines to comply with European regulations.

California Motorcycles has added these Thorcat-approved Vance & Hines exhausts to its catalog, replacing the stock internal silencer with an EC/ABE-approved silencer and, in some cases, adding a catalytic converter as well.
These changes result in an exhaust system with an exceptionally deep, urban sound that is CE and EBE approved. "With a Thorcat, you get the excellent build quality of Vance & Hines and a great sound, with the certainty that your exhaust is legal throughout the European Union."
For Euro 1 and 2 systems, the original Vance & Hines baffle is replaced with a Thorcat EC-approved cartridge baffle. For Euro 3 and 4 systems, the baffle is replaced and a catalytic converter is also added.
To comply with regulations, the cartridge baffles and catalytic converters are welded in place and cannot be removed.
In addition to being converted for CE and ABE approval, the original Vance & Hines branding (embossed logos/badges) is retained and they feature full-coverage heat shields, manufactured in the USA and modified in Germany.

Gracias
