...with a vehicle that's over 50 years old.
Crazy or geniuses
They say that among the different types of intelligence that exist, one of the most important is intrapersonal intelligence, which consists of the ability to understand and modify our own feelings and emotions.
Why do I say this? Because at 69, you have to be very mentally strong to attempt to break the world speed record with a piston-engined vehicle built 50 years ago.

This is the feat achieved by Danny Thompson last weekend at the World Land Speed Record Championship held at the Bonneville Salt Lakes, USA.
Danny and his team achieved a top speed of 725.67 kilometers per hour with the Challenger 2, built in the late 1960s by the racer's father.

A test where passion, perseverance, and the ability to believe in oneself and one's team's potential are just as important as technological challenges, engineering, and experience.
"If you really want it, you're likely to get it."
