American manufacturer Fox has developed a complete line of high-performance shock absorbers and suspension for Harley-Davidson.
Upgrading the front and rear of your bike amplifies your ability to enjoy every mile. FOX shocks are designed to be comfortable, controlled, and have a "stick-to-the-road" feel. FOX fork kits use less spring preload and a higher spring rate than stock. This makes the fork feel supple over small bumps, yet provides enough support to resist fork hop under braking.
Cartridge front suspension for forks
The cartridge's opposed-piston design creates a sealed system to prevent air from mixing with the oil, resulting in consistent damping control regardless of driving time. Additionally, the cartridge's spring-loaded upper piston moves easily to absorb even the smallest bumps, unlike gas-charged designs that can create internal friction and a harsh ride.
QS3 3-position adjustable compression
The Quick Switch (QS3) three-position compression adjuster on the remote reservoirs allows you to select from three specific settings: maximum comfort, additional support during hard acceleration, or more responsive and precise handling.
Fox internal technology
FOX's super-high-flow pistons maintain that fluid, comfortable, and smooth feel that is so characteristic of a big V-twin without letting that movement get out of control. The internal floating piston (IFP) found in all FOX Performance Street Series shocks separates the nitrogen gas from the shock oil, meaning the shocks will maintain damping control no matter how long you ride.
Preload
Setting the correct preload on your shocks is essential for a great ride. FOX makes it easy with its exclusive preload adjustment marks and a non-marring serrated adjustment tool, making setup a breeze.
QS-R 3-position rebound adjustment
FOX's new three-position Quick Switch Rebound (QSR) with three distinct settings makes it easy to select the right rebound for different riding situations: comfort on bumpy back roads, a balance of control and comfort on any trail, and a glued-to-the-road feel on smooth, twisty roads.
