These billet aluminum offset oil filter adapters install between the engine and oil filter. An offset adapter is required to fit an oil cooler on Twin Cam models. For fuel injected Evolution models an offset oil filter adapter is recommended to fit an oil cooler. It improves the accessibility of the oil filter during maintenance and also directs the oil through the filter before entering the cooler, resulting in less restriction.
